Dear friend and watchers

I hope you all had a great easter, the British easter has been rather surreal with the freezing weather and yes it snowed today, I did made a dark wish for longer winter back in January  :lmao: which I totally regret now especially when I saw my blue fingers waiting in the cold for the bus that never showed! I apologise for not making any features or commenting on journals much, I've  been concentrating soley on your deviations. I've also missed some important birthdays, a belated happy birthday to you if I missed yours ^^; it looks like things will be this way for while, Im working for two different companies in the same building and it can get a little crazy sometimes. I will be finishing with the Egypt pictures in the next 2 weeks or less I hope so I can focus on my usual art. I will try to do more art features this month, keep a look out for those :ahoy:

Dear friends and watchers

With work and everything, I will not be as active as before BUT I will do my best to keep on top of everything. I finally got round to acknowledging my new watchers and visiting their pages yesterday which was nice, I have also started editing the Egypt trip pictures. I have 3 Jordanian photos left to upload and its over :( I hope you all enjoyed those. Photobox.com had some offers on photobooks, went for it this last week, 100 pages in a book, pretty excited to see what my images look like in print I have 3 months to work on it, I might need your help on chosing the good ones so look out for polls :)

Big Thanks you all for the birthday wishes and dedications, I was reading them on and off during the day with a big smile! I am still a little shocked how time is flying but I will get over it, doesn't help watching tv/movies with "flashbacks" to 1986* as if it was eons ago :no: :lmao: I've decided that life is too short and get things and do things I want this year anyway have a great week :ahoy:

Dear friends & watchers,

Its saddening to see 2012 come to an end :(  For me 2012 has been one of the best year ever, I kinda needed after a disastrous 2011. I just hope 2013 will be even better, thank you for all your wonderful support this year.  I have been quite busy lately; thus the lack of activity but I am trying to keep on top of everything. Just a warning; you'll all be spammed by tonnes of Egypt and Jordan pics in the coming month of Jan :lmao: I am eager to upload them asap so I can get back to my usual photography.

Dear friends and watchers,

I hope you're all well, I arrived back yesterday :( I had a wonderful time in Jordan and Egypt, left with a heavy heart; there was so much more to see there, I will defenitely go back some day. I have just cleared my inbox but DA's spam lock has kicked in and It'll take me some time to catch up with the hundreds of deviations left. I had to delete all the journals unfortunately there were too many :phew:

Jordan was fantastic, dramatic desert scapes and mountains the people were very welcoming and friendly, I felt a lot more comfortable there than I did in Egypt, we visited port Aqaba and then 1/5 of Petra and its epic ruined temples, breathtaking place.

From Jordan we travelled to Egypt's port El-Sokhna from there we visited Cairo, Giza Pyramids & Sphinx,  Saqqara pyramids, Memphis and tombs then we headed south to Port Safaga and from there we visited the temple complex of Queen Hatshepsut, memon statues, the Valley of the Kings and finally Luxor and Karnak temples and then sailed to Sharm el sheik and back home. Egypt was fascinating, generous people I got a free egypt souvenir pencil, a good luck scarab. I was also "ambushed" by really unpleasant aggresive sales person, one dressed me as an arab and dumped infront of a camel for a picture and charged me for that despite heavily refusing and another sneaked  two chunks of alabaster in my bag and a carving and charged me for that, seems "no" doesnt work there. The ancient ruins were overwhelming, there's no other words, I took over 1900 pics in all, I will be posting them soon but I am still processing them all.

I photographed a busker and his cat back in January in covent garden   they were recently featured in the bbc and mail I was quite suprised but it was nice to put a story to a random street shot ; article [link].
