Update oct13Dears friends/watcher
I apologise for my absence, it's been absolutely busy with work. I've hardly had time for DA and its quite upsetting, autumn/winter is my favourite season but sadly I have not been on any shoots. I think Im being relocated to work in Enfield which means my DA time will be taken up by my long commute to/from work, its gonna be aweful! I hope you have all been well while I was away, managed to catch up with your submissions but I have deleted most replies and Journals, too many I have also missed important birthdays, a belated happy birthday to you

Underrated Monos 1812 +UpdatesHi everyone, hope you're all well, I'd like to apologise for my lack of activity I've been quite busy this summer with everything but Im hoping August will be quieter and cooler! The thieves that broke in my house a few months have been caught. Its good timing because I've been hiding my valuables/electricals around the house and can't even find them now that includes my battery charger for my camera no more pictures for a while now!

ZEUGMA The Ancient CityZeugma is an ancient city of Commagene; currently located in the Gaziantep Province of Turkey. It is a historical settlement which is considered among the four most important settlement areas under the reign of the kingdom of Commagene. It was named for the bridge of boats, or Zeugma, which crossed the Euphrates there. The ancient city of Zeugma was originally founded as a Greek settlement by Seleucus I Nicator, one of the generals of Alexander the Great, in 300 BC. King Seleucus almost certainly named the city Seleucia after himself; whether this city is, or can be, the city known as Seleucia on the Euphrates or Seleucia at the Zeugma is disputed. The population in the city at its peak was approximately 80,000. In 64 BC Zeugma was conquered and ruled by the Roman Empire and with this shift the name of the city was changed into Zeugma, meaning "bridge-passage" or "bridge of boats". During Roman rule, the city became one of the attractions in
Volpi. You will find that the story you tell
is very rarely your own. In Lucca,
even the smallest pebbles
breathe in the warm sunlight.
Knotted stones and cobbled roads
beat out a paper-dry heartbeat heat
my city breathes in and out,
inhales sparrow air.
It's writing a story.
You are the pen.
You will find that in Lucca
the daisy chains forge fire
in side streets and back alleys.
Teenagers intertwine. Tell me,
odd flower, are you still closed?
Here we are colored wax;
the heat of the city melts us.
We run into each other, rhapsody
of pigments. Operas are our specialties.
Open up; feel the reds.
If not, try and see them. There is a place
of deep knife marks, a street
long as midnight
you may learn something there.
Valentina's voice glimmers like red wine.
You may enjoy intoxications. Still,
know alcohol has no story
and will swallow your own.
Find the sign with the wolf on it.
You'll know the place. Epiphanies ring true as church-bells.
Lucca still guides the wanderers
